There's nothing like a fresh-caught meal! The squid and fluke are in abundance, making for an exciting fishing season. We ventured out to the fishing grounds to catch both. Although the squid were somewhat elusive, we dedicated our night to catching a few for the dinner plate. This time of year is fantastic as the squid move in close to the beach and eagerly strike at the squid jig. The fluke are equally aggressive, taking advantage of the plentiful squid to chase around. This season is perfect for finding large fluke moving into shallow waters.
